Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure data technologies.
Design and develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and decision-support solutions for senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
Partner directly with executive business leaders to gather requirements, facilitate strategy discussions, prioritize analytics needs, and demonstrate solutions.
Create scalable semantic models, governed datasets, and reusable analytics assets that enable trusted enterprise reporting.
Leverage emerging AI capabilities including Copilot, Fabric AI experiences, natural language querying, and generative AI solutions to accelerate analytics development and improve business user experiences.
Design AI-enabled reporting experiences that allow users to interact with data using conversational analytics and natural language questions.
Establish enterprise standards and best practices for dashboard design, performance optimization, semantic modeling, data visualization, and analytics governance.
Drive adoption of new Microsoft Fabric and Power BI capabilities by evaluating emerging technologies and identifying business value opportunities.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, Security, and business teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.
Optimize report and semantic model performance to ensure highly responsive executive experiences.
Develop analytics roadmaps and solution strategies supporting enterprise goals and business priorities.
Provide and promote technical leadership to BI developers, analysts, and engineering teams.
Create training materials, best-practice documentation, and recorded learning content to improve enterprise analytics maturity.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for business intelligence, executive reporting, analytics modernization, and AI-enabled decision making.
Ensure all products and solutions adhere to corporate security, compliance, governance, and accessibility requirements.
Stay current with advancements across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, Azure AI, and modern analytics technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related technology disciplines.
5+ years of advanced Power BI development experience, including enterprise-scale semantic models, DAX, Power Query, performance optimization, and capacity implementation.
Proven experience designing executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions consumed by senior leadership.
Experience translating complex business concepts into intuitive data visualizations, KPI frameworks, and executive scorecards.
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing methodologies, metadata management, and enterprise data architecture.
Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple business functions and operational domains.
Experience implementing row-level security, governance standards, and trusted analytics practices.
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements directly from senior business stakeholders.
Strong presentation, communication, and data storytelling skills.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development capabilities and integrating AI-powered analytics experiences into reporting solutions.
Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Genie, or modern data/analytics platforms.
Ability to independently lead highly visible, ambiguous, and complex initiatives with minimal supervision.
