Job summary

CSS is seeking a Business Intelligence Report Developer and Analyst in Omaha, NE, to build Power BI reporting solutions and turn data into insights that support operational, financial, and strategic decisions.

You will partner with finance, operations, HR, and other teams to define requirements, improve data quality, and deliver reports and dashboards. The role includes SDLC responsibilities, data governance support, and potential contract-to-hire conversion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Power BI development and business analytics experience with enterprise reporting
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, data modeling, and star schema design
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
• Advanced Excel and strong Office skills; fast typing and ten-key proficiency
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and paginated reports
• Build semantic models, star schemas, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations
• Manage Power BI Service content, security, performance, and deployment pipelines
• Analyze trends, define KPIs, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Gather requirements, support ad hoc and executive reporting, and conduct UAT and training
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with data engineering on source systems
• Support data governance, reporting standardization, automation, and adoption of Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics
