Job summary

Materion Corporation is seeking a production operator to run equipment for LX powder production. You will set up crushers, mills, furnaces, dryers, and other processing gear, ensuring efficient and safe operations on the manufacturing floor.

You will follow 6S practices, perform QA sampling, enter movements in SAP, and maintain documentation for traceability. Welding experience is a plus, but not required; high school diploma with 2 years of manufacturing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years industrial manufacturing experience.
• Welding education and experience desirable but not required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and prescribed safety rules.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate jaw crushers, mills, and blending equipment to support LX powder production.
• Operate furnaces, leach equipment, and chemical addition systems for LX powders.
• Run air dryers, screeners, dry magnet, and agglomeration furnaces as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 6S standard work practices and safety rules.
• Enter material movements in SAP and complete QA/traceability paperwork.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment.
