Senior Machine Operator – LX Powder Production

Job summary

Materion seeks an equipment operator to manage the preparation and production of LX powders, working on crushers, mills, furnaces and packaging lines. You will blend, test, and move materials, while following strict safety and quality procedures on the factory floor.

You will document movements in SAP, support quality control paperwork, and help maintain a clean, 6S-compliant work area in a high-integrity manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years industrial manufacturing experience.
• Welding education and experience desirable but not required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety rules to maintain quality and safe conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate crushers, mills and blending equipment for LX powders production.
• Set up and operate furnaces, leach, and chemical addition for LX powders.
• Operate dryers, screeners and magnets in LX powders production.
• Set up and run agglomeration furnaces and vacuum packaging equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and routine maintenance on production equipment.
