Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Production Operator to join its U.S. production team in a clean, climate‑controlled facility. You will set up, operate, and monitor equipment for powdered metal contacts, follow precise instructions, and work with SAP to process orders.

The role offers a starting wage of $31.23/hour plus $2/hour shift premium, with strong benefits and potential overtime. Candidates should be able to read and follow instructions, communicate well with teammates, and maintain safety

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand written materials and follow instructions.
Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and work safely in a manufacturing setting.
Basic computer skills and readiness to operate in a SAP environment.
High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment used in the manufacturing of powdered metal contacts.
Follow work instructions and operate mixing equipment.
Setup production furnaces to run at specific settings.
Monitor press equipment and perform adjustments to maintain quality.
Perform first piece inspection using gauges and operate SPC software.
Perform changeovers on various equipment.
Use SAP software to complete order transactions.
Maintain production records and documentation.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment (5S).
