Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Production Operator to join its U.S. production team in a clean, climate‑controlled facility. You will set up, operate, and monitor equipment for powdered metal contacts, follow precise instructions, and work with SAP to process orders.

The role offers a starting wage of $31.23/hour plus $2/hour shift premium, with strong benefits and potential overtime. Candidates should be able to read and follow instructions, communicate well with teammates, and maintain safety

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and understand written materials and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and work safely in a manufacturing setting.
  • Basic computer skills and readiness to operate in a SAP environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Setup production furnaces to run at specific settings.
  • Monitor press equipment and perform adjustments to maintain quality.

  • Maintain production records and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment (5S).

What will you do?

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $31.23 - $31.87 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.
