Job summary

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Powder Production Team Lead for the Sun-Thu 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). You’ll lead a powder manufacturing team, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and maximize equipment uptime while following batch tickets and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience; experience operating or learning production equipment preferred.
• Previous experience providing team leadership, training, or work direction in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to production team members to promote safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for production team members in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
• Monitor and audit production processes to ensure compliance with work instructions, setup procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Partner with Quality Control to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product quality concerns.
• Support efficient production by maximizing equipment uptime and assisting with all aspects of the manufacturing process.
