Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Formulation and Process Development Scientist to advance early-stage biopharmaceutical platforms focusing on dried powder formulations. You will design mixing protocols, produce and characterize powders, and document processes to enable scalable workflows.

Ideal candidates have a BS or MS in a relevant field, with RA I/II-level experience or equivalent MS experience, and knowledge of solid-state tech.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field (must-have).
• RA I: up to 2 years industry experience; RA II: 2–4 years or MS with 0–2 years experience.
• Knowledge of physical chemistry and solid-state characterization techniques preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute mixing protocols for dried powders.
• Produce and characterize dried powders (lyophilization and spray drying).
• Support process scalability through documentation and SOPs.
