Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist in MS&T to lead formulation development, process optimization, and technology transfer across the product lifecycle from pre-formulation to commercialization.

You will design and assess pharmaceutical dosage forms, support regulatory submissions, and collaborate with Analytical Development, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to ensure scalable, compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences is required.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical development experience with deep knowledge of pharmaceutics and lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting commercial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pharmaceutical dosage forms, including oral solids and powders.
• Write and review PPQ, cleaning, and validation protocols.
• Implement project plans from raw material selection through scale-up.
• Prepare technical reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot formulation and process issues and support regulatory submissions.
• Mentor junior scientists.
