Tate Americas is a leading manufacturing and coating operation, focused on delivering powder-coated components for data center manufacturing. The Powder Coating Technician performs coating operations, operates equipment, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

The role is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities across setup, application, quality checks, and safety compliance. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years powder coating experience.
• Able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality application of powder coatings to fabricated components.
• Prepare products for powder coating by blasting and cleaning.
• Assist moving carriages and carts in/out of spray booths.
• Clean and maintain powder coating guns and equipment.
• Change color and clean booth during color changes.
• Troubleshoot powder coating equipment as needed.
