Job summary

Tarter Farm and Ranch in Utah is seeking a Lead Powder Coating Technician to oversee the powder coating department on the paint line. You will lead a small team, ensure top-quality finishes, and drive efficient, safe production through hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining coating equipment, prepping parts, inspecting thickness and curing, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements while coaching teammates to a high standard of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder coating or industrial painting.
• 1+ year of leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of coating techniques, surface prep, and curing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Powder coating or industrial painting experience
• 1+ year of leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of coating techniques, surface prep, and curing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a production environment.
• Forklift experience a plus.
