We’re looking for a hands-on leader to oversee our powder coating department, ensuring top-quality finishes, efficient workflow, and a safe, productive environment. If you take pride in craftsmanship and enjoy leading a team, this is the role for you.
Lead and train a small team of powder coating technicians.
Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating guns, booths, and ovens.
Prepare parts (cleaning, masking, and surface prep) and ensure consistent, high-quality finishes.
Inspect parts for coating thickness, coverage, and curing quality.
Monitor daily production schedules, material usage, and department safety.
Troubleshoot coating issues and implement process improvements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Powder coating or industrial painting experience
1+ year of leadership or team lead experience preferred.
Strong understanding of coating techniques, surface prep, and curing processes.
Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a production environment.

The majority of the work will be conducted on the paint line. Temperature conditions are weather dependent. A special paint suit and respirator must be worn. Work may be fast paced.
