Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled Powder Coater to prepare parts and assemblies for coating, apply powder finishes, and maintain equipment on a production floor in a fast-paced environment.

You will read blueprints, interpret product data sheets, manage chemicals, and ensure quality through tests and documentation. A high school diploma or GED is required, with powder coating experience preferred. Safety PPE and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in powder coating or paint application preferred.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Basic math, including ratios and volume calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and assemblies for coating and surface prep.
• Apply powder coat finishes and manage chemicals.
• Maintain PPE and follow safety programs.
• Clean and maintain spray equipment and paint booth.
• Record labor hours and maintenance checklists.
• Support cost-saving and quality improvement projects.
