Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC in Selma, Alabama, is seeking an experienced Painter to support Bush Hog products on the powder coating line. You will hang, inspect, and load parts, ensuring correct sequence and safe handling throughout the process.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration with assembly teams to meet painting needs, while operating conveyors and heavy equipment. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours per day and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Hang and fasten parts into the painting conveyor system.
• Inspect parts for welding quality prior to painting.
• Retrieve parts needed for powder painting.
• Ensure correct products and quantities enter and exit the conveyor system.
• Meet painting needs for all assembly departments.
• Ensure quality control before and after the painting process.
• Transport heavy materials using dollies and pallet jacks.
• Operate heavy machinery to move products to/from the powder coating area.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
