Job summary

GH Metal Solutions in Fort Payne, AL seeks a Paint Line Operator focused on painting metal parts. You will setup, operate, inspect, and handle materials while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, recording production data, and performing daily quality checks. Prior experience in powder coating is beneficial; candidates should be able to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a powder coating environment is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task & handle tasks with competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Solid verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow SOPs for each task.
• Complete production records and quality checks clearly.
• Perform quality checks on material at required intervals.
• Monitor loading/unloading, hanging methods, line density, stacking.
• Train others on procedures such as hanging, checks, loading and packing to customer specs.
• Collaborate with quality staff to ensure specs and adjust for line continuity.
• Operate forklifts and perform burn-off, rework, or sandblasting as needed.
• Meet production standards for the department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
