Job summary

Alamo Industrial is seeking a Paint Process Associate to prepare and powder coat manufactured parts in a controlled shop environment. You will hang, secure, and inspect parts, operate the powder coat applicator, and ensure quality across departments.

The role emphasizes safe lifting, equipment maintenance, and teamwork in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant. Prior paint experience and forklift operation are preferred, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year paint experience (powder coat a plus).
• Forklift operation knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for paint and apply masking tape.
• Hang and fasten parts into the conveyor system.
• Operate powder coat applicator and apply paint.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality.
• Meet painting needs from all departments.
• Clean and maintain the paint booth and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Transport heavy materials using dollies, forklifts, and similar equipment.
