Job summary

MEI: Total Elevator Solutions in Mankato, MN is seeking a Painter to support the paint department. You will load, hang, and powder coat elevator parts, while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow and contributing to a team-focused environment.

The role requires reading and following procedural instructions, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a structured shift. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Able to communicate effectively with strong people skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder to parts per instructions.
• Accurately scan in parts as you load on the paint bars.
• Close out jobs accurately when they are completed.
• Move completed load bars to the paint system.
• Prep metal elevator parts before powder coating.
• Demonstrate respect and regard for customers and coworkers to ensure a professional environment.
