Job summary

Weller Metalworks in Illinois is seeking a General Labor in the Paint Department. You will be trained and responsible for loading and unloading parts on the powder coating line, masking, prepping, and packaging parts for coating and shipment.

Hours are Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, and Mon-Thu 3:00pm-1:30pm with overtime possible. We offer a competitive benefits package including vacation, holidays, health/dental/vision, bonuses, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Eager to bring your skillset into an advanced manufacturing facility.
• Must be a detail oriented person willing and able to contribute to a team effort.
• Begin and finish each day with a zero defect mentality and commitment to producing a quality product.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading parts on and off the powder coating line.
• Masking and plugging holes and threads on parts.
• Prepping parts on the powder line prior to coating.
• Packaging parts to the customer's order prior to shipment or being moved to Inventory.
• Hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm and Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30pm there may be opportunities for overtime as the workflow dictates.
