Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a Finishing Team Leader in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, focused on powder coating leadership and daily operations. The role supports the supervisor, directs associates, and ensures production and paint quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include scheduling, problem solving, and implementing best practices within the Powder department, with emphasis on training and discipline where needed to maintain efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with powder coating experience
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role
• Basic computer skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist the department supervisor with leading and directing associates through daily activities
• Assist with determining project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials according to blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instruction
• Assist with production scheduling
• Ensure paint quality consistently meets company standards
• Communicate and work closely with associates and Powder Manager
• Schedule work to meet customer demands
• Interact with associates and Powder Manager to define requirements
• Troubleshoot and solve problems within the Powder department
• Define, implement, and maintain best practices
• Train associates and ensure they conform to policy
• Assist in implementing progressive discipline procedures
