Gasser Chair Company is seeking a skilled Powder Coat Associate to support our premium seating production. You will apply powder coatings, prepare items, operate spray guns and curing ovens, and perform quality checks to ensure durable finishes.

This role thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, requiring strong attention to detail, safety adherence, and teamwork with cross-functional colleagues to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in powder coating is a plus.
• Previous experience in powder coating or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with powder coating equipment and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Powder Coating Application: Apply powder coating to components according to specifications and standards.
• Preparation: Clean, mask, and prep surfaces before coating.
• Equipment Operation: Use spray guns and curing ovens to apply coatings evenly.
• Quality Control: Inspect for defects and adjust processes as needed to meet standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures while handling materials and operating equipment.
• Record Keeping: Document material usage and production metrics.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to meet production targets.
• Cleanup: Keep work area and tools clean and organized.
