Job summary

Valley Craft, based in Lake City, Minnesota, is seeking a Powder Coat Painter to prep, coat, and finish metal parts for high-quality finishes on production and custom orders.

The role involves electrostatic coating, washing/prepping parts, and following work instructions. 1st shift schedule is described, with potential for occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays. Prior manufacturing experience and attention to detail are valued.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial painting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of metalworking equipment and processes a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Powder Coating & Paint Booth Operations: Prep and coat metal parts using electrostatic powder coating equipment.
• Wash & Prep: Wash and degrease parts, load/unload, and prepare surfaces for paint adhesion.
• General Responsibilities: Operate, clean, and maintain painting and wash equipment; maintain a clean, safe work area; support production and perform additional duties as assigned.
