Responsibilities

• Hang parts to go through the Powder Coat booths.
• Blow off and mask parts prior to powder coating.
• Visually inspect parts and load into bins after powder coating.
• Pre-sanding and repairing minor surface blemishes.
• Operate the powder gun application and proper powder booth operation.
• Grind parts with power tools that require smoothing.

FUNCTION:

Powder Coat team members paint and inspect parts that are used in Protomet products. The Powder Coat process is aided by automated state-of-the-art equipment as well as your contributions. Our team members give our products a world class finish. Powder Coat is our most active area… time flies!

• Hanging parts to go through the Powder Coat booths
• Blow off and mask parts prior to powder coating
• Visually inspect parts and load into bins after powder coasting in complete
• Pre-sanding and repairing minor surface blemishes
• Operate the powder gun application and proper powder booth operation
• Grind parts with power tools that require smoothing
