Job summary

Protomet is seeking a Powder Coat team member in Loudon, TN. The role focuses on painting and inspecting parts using state-of-the-art equipment to deliver a world-class finish while maintaining safety and efficiency on a Friday-Sunday schedule from 7:00 a.m.

to 7:30 p.m. Key responsibilities include hanging parts for booths, masking and pre-sanding, inspecting finished work, and operating powder coating equipment with care and precision to ensure high quality outcomes and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in powder coating or related manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate powder coating equipment safely and accurately.
• Commitment to quality, cleanliness and safety in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Hang parts to go through the Powder Coat booths.
• Blow off and mask parts prior to powder coating.
• Visually inspect parts and load into bins after powder coating.
• Pre-sanding and repairing minor surface blemishes.
• Operate the powder gun application and proper powder booth operation.
• Grind parts with power tools that require smoothing.
