Lead the Finish That Customers See First Step into a shift where your leadership sets the tone for quality, safety, and throughput. You begin by aligning the team around the plan for the day-confirming every person assigned to each station understands the job requirements and has the training to execute them. You coach, answer questions, and make sure no one is left guessing.
On the floor, you review parts against prints and the special instructions on each work order, ensuring powder-coated finishes match specifications before they move downstream. You keep a close eye on priorities so work orders are completed on schedule, removing roadblocks and coordinating handoffs to stay on time.
Throughout the shift you monitor efficiency and scrap performance, rallying the team to meet or exceed monthly targets. You address issues at the source, refine setups, and reinforce best practices to minimize waste and rework.
Safety is non-negotiable. You verify that all painting operations adhere to written SINTEL procedures and OSHA standards, lead safety talks, and promptly correct unsafe conditions. As a people leader, you also conduct periodic employee performance reviews, providing clear feedback and development plans.
This role is open for both 1st and 2nd shift.
