Miller Electric Mfg. LLC is seeking a Powder Coat Painter to join the Components Division. The role involves operating and maintaining powder paint booths, ensuring high-quality finishes, and supporting production through cross-training and material handling.

The successful candidate should be safety-minded, detail-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently or in a team. Opportunities exist for career advancement into fabrication training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Safety-minded with attention to quality.
• Mechanically inclined; able to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to manage time and understand scheduling.
• Experience with basic computer systems desired.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run powder paint booths and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on paint booths and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with paint system during operation.
• Inspect finishes to meet standards and customer expectations.
• Clean and maintain equipment, booths and work area daily.
• Load and unload parts on the paint line.
• Perform quality checks and package products per requirements.
• Cross-train in all areas of the Paint Department.
• Install PEM nuts and weld nuts onto components.
• Move materials to support production flow.
• Receive training in painting techniques and processes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operations.
