Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong emphasis on safety and quality.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations and encourage safe work practices.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and encourage coworkers to follow them.
• Operate power wash equipment to wash down product before painting.
• Select appropriate powder according to product specifications.
• Prepare items for coating by cleaning and surface preparation.
• Set up parts on racks or jigs for powder coating.
• Operate spray guns to apply powder coating to items.
• Maintain and clean coating, ventilation, and PPE.
• Record start/end times, powder usage and defects.
• Document supply inventory weekly.
• Prepare work site and move products as needed.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain air monitoring devices in confined spaces.
• Load and unload products and distribute them appropriately.
• Assist in training junior employees and inspecting their work.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished work.
• Support LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
