Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for the 2nd shift (3pm-1:30am, Mon-Thu) in Monroe, WI. Responsibilities include loading powder, operating spray equipment, monitoring coating temperatures, unloading finished parts, and preparing surfaces with chemicals and tools. Must lift 55 lbs and read blueprints; experience with cranes and forklifts is needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 55 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to use a crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints and job instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
• Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
• Move sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
• Regulate temperature of coating solution.
• Remove articles from conveyor and place in drying racks or containers.
• Paint parts.
• Prepare parts with chemicals and hand tools.
