Job summary

United Alloy is seeking a dedicated painting and finishing technician for 2nd shift to prep, assemble, and powder coat fabricated metal components. You will apply coatings, monitor gun settings, and maintain equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires experience with metal fabrication concepts, powder coatings, and the ability to read blueprints. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, and operate related tools and cranes as part of

Qualifications

Exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes.
Experience or exposure to powder paint application processes.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Manual dexterity and steady hand coordination.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble fabricated components per customer requirements and manufacturing philosophies.
Paint and powder coat components using proper techniques and settings.
Regulate paint gun settings and perform PM on paint line equipment.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to keep equipment running.
Ensure paint thickness checks meet specified standards.
Work efficiently to meet quality and throughput targets.
