Job summary

Professional Placement Services seeks a Powder Coat Technician for a full-time, permanent role in Bedford, Ohio. The 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday, 2:00 pm to Midnight.

You will set up and operate the powder coating machine and prepare surfaces for coating across steel, aluminum, and other metal parts. Responsibilities include applying powder coatings, determining appropriate flow and coating quality, and measuring thickness to ensure a consistent finish on varied surfaces as specified

Qualifications

• Experience with powder coating processes and equipment.
• Ability to measure coating thickness and ensure uniform finish.
• Understanding of safety protocols in a metal fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the powder coating machine.
• Prepare and coat surfaces including steel and aluminum.
• Assess coating quality and thickness during/after application.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment between batches.

Seeking a FULL TIME PERMANENT Powder Coat Technician for an industry leading Metal Fabrication Shop. 2nd Shift available. Details are below:

• Responsible for setting up and operating the powder coating machine
• Clean and prepare products to be painted or coated.
• Determine the required flow of paint and the quality of the coating.
• Apply paint and coating.
• Measure the thickness of paint or coating material applied.
• Prepare and powder paint a variety of surfaces including, Steel, Aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified.
• Apply protective powder coatings to items such as equipment and miscellaneous metalwork.

2nd Shift Hours are Monday-Thursday 2pm to Midnight
