Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is seeking a Powder Coat Specialist Supervisor to lead day-to-day plant manufacturing operations, ensure on-time shipping, cost control, and quality. You will implement safety programs, foster accountability, and supervise a union workforce of hourly employees.

You will report to the Operations Manager and have opportunities for advancement within 3–5 years as you contribute to organizational goals and cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum A.S. in a technical or management field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles including 5S and SMED.
• Metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong analytics and teamwork skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to walk/sit/bend and navigate plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct production lines to meet shift goals and manage start-ups, shut-downs, and change-overs.
• Supervise training for new and existing employees on production changes and safety.
• Schedule staff, assign tasks, and coordinate department meetings.
• Conduct safety audits and enforce PPE and ergonomics policies.
• Develop reports on forecasts, productivity, and safety; lead process audits.
