UDA - United Dairymen of Arizona is seeking a Packaging Operator to run Ava/Sapac, lactose and butter packaging lines. You will start up, run, and shut down packaging equipment, manage powder bins and fillers, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will also palletize butter, shrink wrap, and prepare products for shipping while keeping precise production records and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas per SOPs and GMP guidelines.

Qualificações

• Must be able to read, hear, speak, write, comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• General knowledge of packaging equipment and food manufacturing processes.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Ava/Sapac, Lactose, and Butter packaging systems to meet production standards for pounds and bags per hour.
• Perform start-up and shut-down of packaging equipment, powder bins, packaging fillers, ink jet coding machines, metal detection equipment, palletizing systems and remelting equipment.
• Hand pack 55 lb cases of butter and palletize, with proper configuration.
• Shrink wrap and prepare products for shipping and storage using case packer equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of weights, start times, downtimes and pallets produced.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse production areas and follow SOPs, HACCP, GMP policies.
