Job summary

FXI, a leading foam innovator, seeks a General Labor 1/2 at our Terrell, Texas facility to support assembly floor operations and fabricate components. You will assist in setup, machine operation, and stage products for timely production while following safety and 5S standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours. Reading measuring devices is essential for quality, and experience in a factory environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year factory-related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabricating devices (Roll Packs, Dolphin, etc.).
• Perform functions of General Labor 1 & 2.
• Operate machines to support the assembly floor.
• Verify conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Read work orders to specifications.
• Stage product in designated areas.
• Identify and/or record any problems related to the product, process, and the quality system.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned.
