Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Production Hourly position in Georgia. You will join our production team to process poultry, cut, trim, package and inspect products to meet safety and quality standards. This role requires standing for long periods, teamwork, and adherence to safety and biosecurity guidelines.

You’ll operate equipment, keep your area clean, and follow all procedures. Training and growth opportunities are available as you contribute to continuous improvement and company goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in poultry or food industry is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly; good communication; team player and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor and equipment per USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different areas of production as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
