Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking production hourly team members in Athens, Alabama. In this hands-on role, you will cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products, operate equipment, and help maintain a safe, clean workplace in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll follow USDA and Pilgrim’s standards, work Monday–Friday with some weekend shifts, and may participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Starting base pay is $18 per hour with a $2 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow simple instructions; must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the line according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
