Job summary

Lincoln Premium Poultry in Fremont, Nebraska, is seeking an assistant to the production supervisor to help oversee daily operations in multiple departments. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork within a fast-paced food-production environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years’ lead experience in poultry processing, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining strong communication with staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years’ lead experience in poultry or meat processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist production supervisors with the daily operation of assigned area.
• Assist in training of co-workers.
• Plan and coordinate shift activities in assigned area.
• Assist in planning and implementing process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety programs (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs).
• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Assist in promoting facility safety program and a safe working environment.
