Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor in the Cedar Rapids area to oversee production line personnel and ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, USDA and OSHA standards. The role focuses on productivity, schedule adherence, and customer specifications while coaching a large team.

The candidate will collaborate with QA, implement process improvements, and maintain a zero-accident culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree is favored.
• Experience: minimum one year in manufacturing; three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience with knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 100 production staff and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to meet USDA requirements and maintain sanitary environments.
• Identify process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste; monitor safety and ergonomics.
