Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Production Hourly position on our production line. In this hands-on role you’ll cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products to meet strict safety standards, operate equipment, keep a clean area, and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.

This fast-paced environment rewards attention to detail and teamwork. Preferred education is a High School Diploma or GED; poultry or food industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
• Able to multitask, communicate well, follow simple instructions, and be a team player.
• Able to stand 8-11 hours in cool temperatures (~40°F) and lift 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products per USDA/Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and fostering teamwork.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility across production areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
