Job summary

Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a Day Shift production worker in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role involves complying with safety and quality policies, inspecting products for defects, and maintaining efficient production pace.

You will know and follow product specifications and work safely with knives, scissors and equipment. The position requires the ability to work with a team or independently, and overtime may be necessary to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• No training, education or experience required.
• Urine Drug Test Required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, quality, and all plant specific procedures and rules
• Inspect all product for defects; both naturally and unnaturally occurring
• Work at a safe pace necessary to maintain efficient production at all times
• Know and understand specifications/requirements for each product
• Safely work with and around knives, scissors, and other equipment
• Be familiar with and maintain compliance with all applicable departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA)
• Be familiar with and maintain compliance of all food safety, HACCP, and OSHA regulations
• Work well with a team and independently
• Must be available to work overtime when necessary to meet production needs
