Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Production Hourly role in our Alabama facility. You will work on the processing line performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet strict food safety and quality standards.

Your day includes operating equipment, maintaining a clean area, and following safety and biosecurity guidelines. We value dependability, a willingness to learn, and teamwork as you support continuous improvement and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand 8–11 hours, lift 50 lbs+, and work in cool temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the production line following USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.
• Support team members and promote a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different areas of production as needed.
