Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Plant Manager to direct and coordinate operations for a prepared foods poultry plant in Georgia. You will oversee maintenance, production, purchasing, and administration to achieve objectives at minimal cost while upholding quality.

You will lead a multi-department team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in efficiency and service. A bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years in poultry processing is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience in a poultry processing plant.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; year-for-year experience may substitute.
• Ability to lead multiple departments and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness and quality standards.
• Maintains plant property/equipment and regulatory compliance.
• Prepares operating reports and recommends efficiency improvements.
• Ensures timely delivery of quality product and customer service.
• Selects, trains, develops, and motivates staff.
• Ensures operations comply with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations.
