Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and mentor hourly employees; may involve hiring and development
• Foster safety, compliance, and accountability in operations
• Oversee bird health, feeding, ventilation, and facility cleanliness
• Ensure product quality, minimize losses, and hit targets
• Coordinate feed deliveries and manage inventory
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, EPA, FSMA and biosecurity standards
• Assist budgeting and expense control
• Communicate issues to management and support reporting
• Coordinate bird placement, staffing, and special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
