Job summary

Versova is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead partial production operations at a designated site in the US. You will oversee bird welfare, flock management, scheduling, and movement, driving day-to-day operations with specialty teams on priority projects.

The role requires 2+ years in poultry production with lead/supervisor experience, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong leadership and biosecurity knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in poultry or farm production and knowledge of biosecurity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly employees and oversee day-to-day production activities.
• Foster safety, compliance, and accountability across the site.
• Oversee bird health, feeding, ventilation, and facility cleanliness.
• Ensure product quality, minimize losses, and hit production targets.
• Coordinate feed deliveries and manage inventory needs.
• Supervise facility maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA/FSMA and animal welfare standards.
• Assist budgeting and expense control; report to management.
• Coordinate bird placement, staffing, and special projects.
