Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated production worker to support shoulder removal on the poultry line. You will follow speed requirements, work safely, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Manual dexterity required.
• Able to work unsupervised and stay motivated.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, remove poultry shoulder from carcass while maintaining line speed according to company and customer specifications.
• Identify and remove fan bones and eye meat from poultry piece as needed.
• Adhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures, maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality; report any condition or practice that may adversely affect food safety, food quality and/or personnel safety.
• Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
