Cobb-Vantress, LLC is seeking a Team Member to attend to and care for birds in grow out houses at Three Springs Farm. The role includes feeding, weighing, and inspecting birds to determine quality and progress; tasks conducted with safety and biosecurity in mind.

The position offers a starting pay of $17.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits begin on day one for full-time hires and include health, dental, vision, and 401K, among others.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer.
• No employment gaps >6 months in the past 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and care for birds in grow out houses; inspect birds to determine quality and progress by performing the duties listed.
• Weigh feed and water birds according to schedules and inspect water lines daily.
• Drive farm truck to feed conversion houses and transfer birds to grow out pens.
• Calculate pen size and adjust space for birds, managing temperature and humidity as instructed.
• Sort birds by breast size and collect weekly samples for corporate lab.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including sanitation and disease control activities.
