Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Flock Advisor in Dublin, GA. You will oversee poultry inventory along assigned routes, coordinate with contract producers and ensure compliance with welfare and food safety standards. A company vehicle is provided for role-related travel.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Poultry Science or related field, 1–3 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license. Strong math, reading, and written communication skills are required to support day-to-day flock management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in poultry science or agribusiness.
• Strong reading, math, writing communication skills (oral and written).
• Analytical skills and statistical background are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with assigned contract producers to improve profitability and compliance at each visit to the farm.
• Maintain route square footage to meet sales demands and ensure poultry welfare, food safety and environmental practices.
• Monitor chick placements, bird weights, flock movements, mortality and feed inventories; assess bird health and relay findings to management.
• Coordinate with producers, vendors and subcontractors; ensure construction projects meet environment requirements for flocks.
• Follow biosecurity, food safety and welfare programs; operate company vehicle safely per policies.
• Provide estimates of remodeling costs for poultry facilities.
