Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a Flock Advisor to oversee poultry inventory along the route in Washington, IN. You will coordinate with contract producers, monitor flock movements and welfare, and ensure compliance with food safety and environmental standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in poultry science or related field (or equivalent experience) and 1–3 years of relevant work. A valid driver’s license with clean record is required. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science or Agribusiness Management or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no points.
• Strong reading, math, writing communication skills (oral and written), analytical skills and a statistical background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned contract producers to improve profitability by implementing production programs.
• Maintain route square footage to meet sales demands and fulfill orders.
• Ensure poultry welfare, food safety and bio-security policies are followed at all times.
• Coordinate with construction crews for updates to poultry houses and facilities.
• Provide estimates for remodeling costs and manage related materials logistics.
