Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Feed Conv House Worker to join our Cobb family team. The role involves data collection in feed conversion houses and dissection labs, with emphasis on accuracy and safety in a biosecure poultry environment.

You will weigh birds, record feed and health data, and assist with lab dissections while following strict biosecurity guidelines. On-the-job training and day-one benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major gaps in the past 36 months.
• Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for interview.
• Prior experience in production or agricultural settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect Data and Perform House Checklist within Feed Conversion Houses; weigh chickens in and out of cages.
• Record feed and monitor bird heart rate and oxygen using pulse-oximeter.
• Dispose of dead birds and clean/disinfect equipment as instructed.
• House set-up, routine housekeeping, and segregation of birds by line and sex.
• Dissect birds in the dissection laboratory and record data on tablet or computer.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and operate related equipment.
