Job summary

Cobb is hiring a Farm Worker for our Three Springs poultry operation. You will power wash, clean and disinfect poultry houses, remove used litter, assist with bird movement and prepare housing with fresh shavings. The role supports daily farm activities and requires physical stamina.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends. Benefits start on day one for full-time employees, with health, retirement and education programs available as

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
• Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for power washing, cleaning & disinfecting poultry houses; removing used litter from poultry houses; assisting with bird movement as needed; placing new shavings in poultry houses; maintaining & cleaning farm equipment.
