Job summary

Tyson Foods Cobb Farm is seeking a Full-time Poultry Farm Worker to perform cleanout and disinfect poultry houses, move birds, and assist with farm operations at Pocomoke Farm in Maryland. The role requires long hours on concrete floors, heavy lifting, and strict adherence to safety and biosecurity guidelines.

Starting pay is 18.45 USD per hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, Telehealth, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps over 6 months in the past 36 months.
• Must pass a physical examination and drug screen.
• Must communicate in oral and written form.
• Must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 2000 pounds with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Remove used litter and disinfect poultry houses and equipment (including vehicles/tractors).
• Move birds as required between housing areas.
• Repair and maintain tractors, pressure washers, litter truck, trailers and equipment.
• Perform simple math and record information as instructed.
• Follow safety, biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines.
