Job summary

Versova is seeking a Farm Compliance Specialist to support biosecurity, animal health and welfare, environmental compliance, and pest control across our layer and pullet flocks. You will help ensure FDA, NPIP, UEP, AHC, and state regulations and customer standards are met, while maintaining proactive protocols to safeguard flock health and egg safety.

The role involves onsite farm work (60-70%), office activities (30-40%), occasional travel for assessments or training, and potential after-hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in compliance or farm operations.
• Knowledge of poultry industry regulations.
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Willingness to work in varied climates and physical settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement farm compliance programs aligned with regulations.
• Support daily compliance activities and documentation.
• Track bird movements and flock testing.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Coordinate testing and reporting timelines.
• Provide training on compliance for staff.
• Maintain accurate records per document control.
• Identify improvements to compliance processes.
